The Eyeshadows:
The eyeshadows are very well pigmented, long lasting color as Tarte is known for the high quality of their eye shadows. The reason why I wanted this palette is that the eye shadows are Matte and not shimmery or glittery. I do not want glitter on my eyelids on a daily basis and being over 40 I feel matte suites me better. The colors are more of a neutral/mauve color palette with a nice matte finish. This was important to me as I have a hard time finding quality pigmented shadows with no glitter.
Tarte Bronzer, Blush and Highlighter
Palette inlcudes a bronzer, blush and highlighter, they are also in the neutral/mauve color palette and very pigmented. So a little does go a long way. The colors are nice and neutral although I am not a big bronzer I think it will be good to apply for some color since I do tend to be a bit pale. The blush and highlighter are GORGEOUS! But apply lightly as they are very pigmented.
Amazonian Clay Foundation
The foundation does come in a variety of colors so it will work with all skintones. The best way to wear this foundation is to apply a nice primer and moisturizer underneath it. Use the brush or a good beauty blender to fully blend it out. I love this foundation and this is one of the reasons why I bought the kit. I have dry mature skin so it does have a nice silky texture but I feel you do need the primer for it to blend well on the face. It is a bit thick to medium in coverage so you can build up the coverage to your liking. I do recommend the Tarte Shape Tape as a good concealer for this foundation.
